Laurie is a native of Louisiana growing up in Abita Springs. She, along with her husband, John, live in Destrehan. They have 2 kids, Mary and Will, and love St. Charles Parish. Laurie is the Creative Director at GracePoint and leads the worship team.
John and his wife (Laurie) met while attending college at Loyola University and have two kids (Mary and Will) They started their ministry work while living Tucson, AZ where John oversaw the strategic planning for the church. In 2013, John and Laurie felt called to return to New Orleans to be part of the revitalization of the city and to help with church planting. As Executive Pastor at GracePoint, John oversees day to day operations, leadership development, and strategic planning.
Ricky and his wife (Katelyn) grew up in the Baton Rouge area where they met in high school. They attended and graduated from LSU together and moved to Destrehan in 2013 upon accepting an employment opportunity in New Orleans. They currently have three children Gracie, Ricky III, and John. As Youth Director, Ricky is responsible for the teaching of 6th-12th grade students that attend our Youth Group meetings.
Moved to Destrehan in 2015 and began attending GracePoint in fall of 2015. Married to Denise Englade and have 2 children and 4 step-children. A member of the GracePoint leadership team and Elder Board. Actively engaged in small group/community group ministries at GracePoint and in prior churches attended.
Chris and Kassy were married in Jan of ’03. They have 3 girls: Kaitlyn, Kinsley, and Karley. In May ’11, they moved to Destrehan, LA, where they currently live, and began the work of GracePoint Church. As pastor, Chris is responsible for preaching/teaching and vision casting.
Kassy and Chris met at Baptist Bible College where she obtained her degree in Early Childhood Development. She serves GracePoint as the director of our children’s ministry and our women’s ministry. She currently leads and organizes all events and programs for both ministries.
